Nazim Amin: A pair of football boot

Assalamualaikum wbt and a very good day.

This is a pair of Nike boot I used to play football with. It had come to its final service ( eceh ;) ) during football competition among colleges in UPM last semester. Towards my time playing football, this is the 4th football boots I owned and what makes it special is because my brother bought this for me ( well basically I chose this boot :P ). The first time I played football with a proper football boot was when in standard 6. My dad bought me a boot kain (most people call it, as it only made up of 70% of kain and 30% rubber for the studs). Didn't craved for a branded one as I was new, and might use it only for that particular match je ke :), slowly2.

It seemed that I used it often to play along with friends every Saturday morning, I had a thought of getting a better boots. The boot kain was angry with me that caused my toe to have a blister in each and every after the game. That was when I got the second boot, Diadora boot. I liked it much because it was white in colour and contained a lil bit of braided-design at the back of it. I used it for a year and a half until the sole part of the boot came out.

I urged to get a new one hehehe, and that was the first time I had a Nike boots. Total 90, it is called.

That time around I had really2 an effort to play well in football, though it was just a hobby. I learned skills, practiced my shots in front of goal post to find a proper angle, free kick etc2. rajin pulak tetiba. Maybe the total 90 gave me a spirit to increase my level, sebab it is very comfortable to wear the boot. Had a great time playing with the total 90, until that one time it had come to an end. There were actually a few times when I send it to cobbler to mend the boot, until it couldn't be mend anymore.

Frankly speaking, I started to feel less enthusiasm in playing football ever since the last I wore the total 90. Boleh je sebenarnya beli kasut yang sama lagi kan, but it's just the moment of when I realized that it wouldn't be the same.

There was this one time when I was so enjoyed watching Joga Bonito, always have waited for its monthly videos to be published. Well Joga Bonito is a Nike channel hosted by Eric Cantona (a former Manchester United player). They produced videos related to football, interesting one. One of the videos is as follows:

:) If you noticed, the boot that Ronaldo wore in this video was the R9 model, and I was kinda look forward into trying it, and probably own one :P ..............

I had! hehehe. It was the boot that had recently worn out. Here's the pictures of it.
